 Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so it’s important to eat a meal that’s not only filling but also nutritious. But seriously, who’s got time to cook a full meal in the morning? No worries, we’ve got the best quick and healthy breakfast ideas for you.

Avocado Toast 

We seriously couldn’t make this post without adding avocado toast to the list. This dish is widely popular not only for its delicious taste but also for how healthy it is, and best of all it’s so easy to make. Fry or boil an egg, toast some bread, and then mash some avocado on it. You can add as much or as little as you like. Crack some salt and pepper and you got yourself a super nutritious meal.

Omlette 

We love making omlettes because you can literally add any vegetable to them and they will be great. All you have to do is add 3 or 4 eggs in a bowl, add some salt and pepper, mix it together and pour it into a well-oiled pan. Add any veggies that you like to the omlette and let it cook. Flip it once one side is well cooked.

 Tip: We love adding spinach, mushrooms, onions, shredded cheese, and bell peppers to ours.

 Overnight Oats

 If you don’t have any time at all to make breakfast in the mornings, making overnight oats is the way to go, because as the name suggest they’re made the night before. It’s an easy no cook method of making your oatmeal and you will absolutely love them. Here’s an easy way for you to get started.

 Ingredients: Rolled oats, vanilla extract, milk (plant-based milk will work too), chia or flax seeds, and yoghurt.

 Fruit and Greek Yoghurt 

 Fruit and yoghurt bowls are the quickest meal to make in the morning. Honestly it doesn’t get any easier this. Just add your favorite fruit of your choice, top them with Greek yoghurt and you’re ready to go. If you want to add a little bit of sweetness to your bowl, you can always drizzle some honey on top.

 Smoothies 

 You can never go wrong with smoothies and there’s a reason why fitness enthusiast and healthy eating experts love them. They are super easy to make, take no time, and you can customize them to your heart’s desire. Want to add some chia seeds to them? Got it! Add your favorite protein powder? Go for it.

All you got to do is throw your favorite fruit in a blender, add juice or water and blend it all together. Here’s our favorite green smoothie recipe.

 Tropical Green Smoothie Recipe:

2 Cups organic spinach

1/2 Avocado

1 Cup frozen mango

1 cup frozen pineapple

1 banana

1 cup coconut milk

 Smoothie Bowl

 

 Banana, Berry, Avocado Smoothie Bowl:

½ cup frozen mixed berries

1 banana

½ avocado

2 TBSP organic vanilla yoghurt

½ cup organic almond milk  

Blend it all together in a blender. Then top it with your favorite berries and other fruit. You can also add chia seeds or granola to it to give it some crunch.

 Chia Pudding

 

 How do these little seeds hold so much power? We love all of the health benefits chia seeds hold, not only are they high in protein and fiber but you can add them to almost anything to give it a healthy boost. We love adding them to our smoothies, oatmeal, and yoghurts, but did you know that they also taste amazing on their own? We love making chia pudding out of them and it’s another great easy breakfast treat. All you need is a milk of your choice, 2 tbsp of chia seeds and honey. Pour all of it into a mason jar, stir it till there’s no clumping then keep them in the fridge overnight. You’ll be able to eat them in the morning, just add your favorite fruit to them and you got yourself a quick and nutritious breakfast.

Lox and Grain Bagel

 

 Now here’s a savory breakfast that we know you’ll love. Lox and bagels, yum! This meal can also be done in no time just toast your bagels like you usually do, spread some cream cheese on them, then top it with some fresh lox. You can also add some freshly cut avocado to it to get in some healthy fats.
