Labor Day weekend has come and passed signaling the end of Summer. We’re slowly seeing the days getting shorter, the temperatures dropping, and the kids are back in school. Just two more weeks to go and Fall will be here. We’re looking forward to seeing the leaves change and cuddling up on the couch with a warm cup of cocoa (or pumpkin flavored beverage) and read a good book. Here are three of some our all-time favorite inspiring health and wellness books. We know they’ll keep you motivated to stick with your fit and wellness journey even after beach body season is over.
Wanderlust
Named after the iconic international festival, the Wanderlust book seeks to teach their readers on how to lead a yogi lifestyle. With the focus of yoga being a way of life that is to be nurtured by eating, well, caring for nature, and helping others the book features essays from various yogis and health and wellness experts that want to teach the wisdom of what yoga is on and off of the mat. New and old yogis alike will love this book, as its positive message is a reminder that in order to lead a healthy lifestyle we need to look beyond exercise and dieting.
Thinner, Leaner, Stronger
When Michael Matthews wrote this book he wanted to show that everybody can get their dream body by using his scientific method. This method teaches how to build strong, lean, and muscular bodies. The best part is, he will teach you to do this without having to spend hours at the gym, cardio exercises, or dieting. Don’t think this will work? Think again. This book is an international bestseller and has the reviews and following to back it up. Try it for yourself if you’re trying to get leaner, stronger, and thinner.
The Breathing Book: Good Health and Vitality Through Essential Breath Work
